Fast & Quick Charge: ALLDOCK 4.0

Not only the accessories and design of ALLDOCK are constantly evolving, but also the technology. A few days ago we updated all our ALLDOCKS available in our online shop to the latest state of the art. The USB hubs (4 or 6 ports) installed in the ALLDOCK now come with two 3A ports as standard, one of which is equipped with Quick-Charge and one with Fast-Charge technology.

With this blog post, we want to summarize and explain the whole topic around our new USB hubs to you.

1. WHY THIS FURTHER DEVELOPMENT?

Our daily companions such as smartphones and tablets are becoming more and more important in everyday life. There is hardly anyone left who does not carry such a companion around with them. As the range of applications continues to grow and the battery power required for this continues to increase, manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung and Co. are trying to increase the size of the batteries but also to speed up charging.

2. WHAT DOES QUICK AND FAST CHARGE MEAN?

This acceleration is called "Quick-Charge" or "Fast-Charge", depending on the manufacturer of the device. This technology is used to quickly charge mobile devices such as specially designed smartphones.

3. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

The advantages are obvious. Your devices will recharge much faster than on the other USB ports, as long as they are Quick or Fast Charge capable. However, this does not mean that the other USB ports offer poor charging performance. After all, they have an output power of 2.4A.

4. A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE

The smartphone and tablet market is subject to constant innovation. This will not change in the future. Therefore we and unfortunately also you as consumers are forced to adapt every few years.

We don't see this necessity for constant adaptation as negative, rather the development of technology brings better and more comfortable devices onto the market. With the ALLDOCK we will always offer you an "Up-To-Date" multiple charging station, which simplifies your everyday life both at home and at work!
